New York's South Street Seaport waterfront has been well known for integrating historic presevation and good urban design leading to good public place for New Yorkers and visitors alike. Now new plan is on the drawing board to replace its current so-so tourist building on the pier - Like many similar projects worldwide, architecture takes center stage in this project.
