NYC Hudson Yard
Hudson Yard is large railway yard in mid-Manhattan's westside facing Hudson River. It refers larger area including deteriorated and uderused factory sites surrounding Hudson Yard. The City of New York aims at converting this area into an vibrant urban community where new officies, residences and commercials are fitting together around newly created open space. NYC unsuccessfully bid 2012 Summer Olympic Event with a plan of brand new stadium to be built on Hudson rail yard. NYC devised the area's plan and made zoning change. This recent NYT article shows what's happening this interesting, controversial regeneration project.
